Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ cucumber chopped
  • 1 green apple chopped
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • ½ inch fresh ginger optional
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • Ice cubes optional

Method
 

  1. Prep the ingredients

    Rinse spinach, cucumber, and apple thoroughly. Chop the cucumber and apple into small chunks.
  2. Add to blender

    Add spinach first, then cucumber, apple, lemon juice, and ginger. Pour in water or coconut water.
  3. Blend

    Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth. Add more water if needed to adjust consistency.
  4. Strain (optional)

    Strain through a fine sieve for a smoother juice. Skip this step if you prefer more fiber.
  5. Serve

    Add ice if desired. Pour into a glass and serve immediately for best taste and freshness.

Notes

  • Don’t go overboard with ginger. A little gives a nice kick, too much turns this into a challenge.
  • Always use cold water or coconut water. Warm juice just doesn’t feel right.
  • Blend properly. Nobody enjoys chunky spinach floating around.
  • Keep the apple unless you replace it with something sweet. Otherwise, the juice gets too bitter.
