Ingredients
  

  • 4 fresh apples
  • ½ cup cold water only if using blender
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional but recommended

  • Honey or sugar if needed
  • Pinch of cinnamon or fresh ginger
  • Mint leaves

Method
 

  1. Prepare apples

    Wash apples thoroughly. Remove the core and seeds. Chop into medium pieces.
  2. Blend

    Add chopped apples and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain (optional)

    Pour through a fine sieve if you prefer smooth juice. Skip if you like pulp.
  4. Add lemon juice

    Stir in lemon juice to prevent browning and enhance flavor.
  5. Serve

    Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Serve over ice and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use fresh, firm apples. If they feel soft, the juice won’t taste great. Simple as that.
  • Don’t skip coring. It takes a few seconds and avoids unwanted bitterness.
  • Add water slowly while blending. Too much and you’ll end up with diluted juice.
  • Lemon juice isn’t just for looks. It keeps the juice fresh and adds a slight kick.
