Cranberry Juice With Apple Cider Vinegar (Simple Detox Drink)

Ingredients
  

  • Unsweetened 100% cranberry juice (not cranberry cocktail)
  • Raw apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
  • Cold water or sparkling water
  • Fresh lemon or lime (optional, for brightness)
  • Honey, maple syrup, or stevia (optional, for light sweetness)
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint or a cinnamon stick (optional garnish)

Method
 

  1. Fill a large glass with ice.
  2. Add 1/4 cup unsweetened cranberry juice to the glass.
  3. Pour in 1 to 2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar. Start with 1 teaspoon if you’re new to ACV.
  4. Squeeze in 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice (optional, but brightens the flavor).
  5. Add 8 to 10 ounces cold water or sparkling water and stir gently.
  6. Taste and, if you like, stir in 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (or a few drops of stevia) to soften the tartness.
  7. Garnish with mint or a cinnamon stick if you want a little aroma. Sip right away.
