Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pasta fusilli, penne, or any short pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls bocconcini, halved
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool it down.
  3. Transfer the cooled pasta to a large bowl.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil.
  5. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic glaze, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture.
  7. Toss everything gently until well combined.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Chill for 15–20 minutes before serving for best flavor.

  • Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overcook the pasta; it should hold its shape.
  • Add basil just before serving to keep it fresh and vibrant.
